This Privacy Policy explains how [LLC NAME] ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Vundii ("the Service"). We take the privacy of your financial data seriously.
Vundii is designed to work with estimates only. We actively discourage entering real account numbers, Social Security numbers, bank credentials, or any other sensitive personally identifiable information (PII). Vundii does not need this information to function — approximate figures are all that is required. Do not enter real account numbers, SSNs, or institution credentials into Vundii.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Account information: email address, password (stored as a hash — we never see your password)
- Financial planning data: estimated retirement account balances, income, expenses, assets, liabilities, and other figures you enter to model your retirement. These should be approximations, not linked to real financial accounts.
- Profile data: birth year, retirement age, state of residence, and similar planning inputs
Information collected automatically:
- Basic usage logs: timestamps of logins and API requests, for security and debugging
- No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics pixels
2. How We Use Your Information

We do not use your financial data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than providing the Service to you.
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial data. We share data only with:
- Supabase — cloud database and authentication provider. Your data is stored in their infrastructure. Supabase Privacy Policy
- Stripe — payment processing. We share your email address with Stripe to manage your subscription. Stripe handles all payment card data directly. Stripe Privacy Policy
- Law enforcement — only when required by a valid legal process (court order, subpoena)
4. Data Security
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption)
- Data at rest is encrypted by Supabase's infrastructure
- Row-level security policies ensure each user can only access their own data
- Passwords are never stored — authentication is managed by Supabase Auth
- We do not have access to your payment card details
5. Data Retention
While your account is active, we retain your data to provide the Service. If you cancel your subscription or delete your account:
- Your data is retained for 30 days in case you wish to reactivate
- After 30 days, all personal data and financial planning data is permanently deleted
- Stripe retains billing records as required by law
6. Your Rights
Regardless of where you live, you may:
- Access your data — all your financial data is visible and editable within the app
- Delete your account and data — email us at vundii.support@gmail.com or delete from within the app
- Export your data — contact us to request a copy
- Correct inaccurate data — edit directly within the app
California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of sale (we do not sell data). To exercise these rights, email vundii.support@gmail.com.
Texas residents (TDPSA): You have the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal data. Contact us at the email above.
7. Cookies
Vundii uses only essential session cookies required for authentication. We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the application. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
